Sandpaper
Remove front mudguard (fender) from motorcycle before fitting this Pyramid product.
Clean both the inside and outside of the mudguard with warm soapy water and dry with towel or cloth. Once dry, use the sandpaper provided and key (rub) the outside surface of your mudguard and the inside surface of the Extenda.
Offer the Extenda up to the mudguard and ensure you know exactly where you intend to position the Extenda before applying the Pyramid No Screws Glue. As highlighted on our fitting instruction sheet, the indents on the rear of the mudguard must match up and sit at the bottom of the guard.
Place the glue in diagonal lines along the guard from left to right leaving 10-15mm in between each bead and make sure you leave a 10-15mm gap at the top edge of the Extenda so the glue does not squeeze out. (If it does, please wait for it to cure before removing it).
Carefully place the Extenda onto the guard, making sure you align it as before and clamp it in place for at least 24 hours.

IMPORTANT : Please do not be tempted to check if the glue on the Extenda has cured before the minimum 24 hour period. This may cause the adhesive bond to fail and it could leave you with a mess!

These Frame End Caps were originally designed for the R1200GS LC 2013 > but our kit has now been upgraded to include end caps to fill the two extra holes found on the frames of the R1200R and R1200RS.
