First of all is the mounting system that bolts securely to the 25mm engine guard bars that run horizontally under the head, such as Ztechnik bars or possible the Hepco-Becker bars and not to the heads or valve covers.
Second, our large size urethane foot pad is very comfortable and rocks to accommodate different foot positions.
Third is the 3” of length adjustment that allows riders of different inseam lengths to be equally comfortable.
Fourth, these Highway Pegs fold away neatly under the head when not in use, preserving the uncluttered look of your BMW.

An eccentric bushing allows 18 different positions with as much as 1-5/16” (33mm) of vertical travel and 1/2” (12.5MM) of fore and aft movement. It also moves the lever out by 3/4″. The billet aluminum lever features aggressive non slip knurling for more positive brake actuation. Designed specifically for use with Ilium Works Sportboards, this lever is also compatible with aftermarket peg lowering kits and stock foot pegs.

When used in place of BMW Auxiliary LED Headlight Brackets, these Auxiliary Light Mount Brackets allow the use of BMW’s Auxiliary LED Headlights on R1200 RTW bikes fitted with Ilium Works Engine Guards. These mounts can also be used on any other 1” (25MM) engine guards as well. With multiple joints in the bracket it is possible to attach to bars that are at compound angles and still aim the lights properly. Made from black anodized 6061 billet aluminum and fitted with stainless steel hardware these attractive and sturdy mounts will provide years of trouble free service. At $110.00 per pair these are also less expensive than BMWs stock brackets.

Ilium Works announces a significant development in BMW Highway Peg / Engine Guard Bar or Crash Bars design for your 2018 and older K1600GT / K1600GTL / GTLE.
Our engine guard protection system consists of side bars made of 1″ diameter, 1/8″ thick heavy wall tubing that runs the full length of the engine. A 3/4″ diameter solid steel cross bar ties the two sides together enclosing the engine in a sturdy cage with 6 points of attachment. All steel pieces are TIG welded and powder coated, all hardware is stainless steel.
This protection system is designed to be fully compatible with our highway peg system, with 3″ of fore and aft adjustment to accommodate riders of differing in seam lengths.
Highway pegs not included.
Use our highway pegs, part# 19-500BL with these engine guard bars (Crash Bars).
These will work with stock OEM fog lights.
